Auckland Explorer - Tour Driver

About the Role

Pacific Tourways Auckland, one of New Zealand's premier tour coach operators and a part of the family-owned Tranzit Group, is collaborating with Entrada Group to operate the Auckland Explorer Bus sightseeing service. This service runs open top double decker buses throughout Auckland City, operating 7 days a week, 364 days per year from 8am to 6:30pm. Shift hours vary based on a rotating roster, with no late night work.

As a Tour Driver, your primary responsibility will be to safely transport passengers around Auckland City while delivering excellent customer service. You will assist passengers in a hop-on-hop-off sightseeing context, while providing commentary through an app-powered audio system available on the buses.

Requirements

• Possess a valid class 4 driver's license with passenger (P) endorsement.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with diverse passengers.
• Good knowledge of Aotearoa (New Zealand) and confidence in speaking to a varied audience.
• Tourism experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Positive attitude and enthusiasm.
• Comfort with technology and using app-based systems.

Additional Information
