Key Responsibilities

• Stock merchandise accurately on shelves, ensuring 100% product availability.
• Handle packing-out and packing-down of merchandise as directed.
• Merchandise new products and promotions to optimize presentation.
• Maintain cleanliness and accessibility of aisles to enhance shopper experience.
• Organize and upkeep overhead storage areas including striping.
• Coordinate with freight team members to place products correctly.
• Deliver excellent customer service following the Get Model: Greeting, Engaging, and Thanking customers.
• Ask open-ended questions to understand customer projects and requirements when needed.
• Move freight safely using appropriate equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, and order picker machines.
• Ensure aisles remain safely navigable for customers.
• Adhere to safety and loss prevention policies consistently.

Physical and Working Conditions

• Tasks involve bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and moving items.
• Capability to climb ladders up to 12 to 16 feet to access or stock items.
• Work schedule is flexible, including potential overnight, evening, and weekend shifts.
• Work environment includes a warehouse setup that may be dusty and noisy, with forklifts emitting gas fumes, and frequent drafts due to open doors causing temperature changes.

Education and Experience Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 to 2 years of retail or distribution experience preferred.
• No leadership experience or certifications are specifically required for this role.
• Knowledge of operating reach trucks, forklifts, and order picker machines is considered an asset.
