Job description
Role Overview
This position is designed for fresh UAE National graduates and is based in Sharjah. The primary responsibility is to support the retail credit policy function and portfolio management, ensuring smooth oversight throughout the entire credit cycle—from sourcing and credit approvals to collections—aimed at maintaining a robust portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct Post Approval Reviews adhering strictly to approved protocols, ensuring no violations of local or internal regulations.
- Review Daily Disaster Reports to detect and communicate any breaches in regulations.
- Maintain and update policy changes effectively, including tracking and assessing product performance through required tests.
- Ensure transparent communication with all essential departments and document credit policy decisions accordingly.
- Confirm that the approved delegation and deviation matrices are implemented and maintained.
- Complete departmental Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) processes punctually and oversee testing aligned with approved procedures.
- Analyze Management Information Systems (MIS) to evaluate portfolio risk quality, verify the suitability of credit policies, and monitor the effects of any policy amendments.
- Collaborate with IT teams to develop parameters and logic needed for automating various data reports.
- Conduct collection reviews for recently delinquent top accounts, identifying factors contributing to delinquency.
- Review portfolio composition with a foundational understanding of demographic mix (Expat vs UAE), loan types (TML vs NTML), salary transfer status, and fundamental performance metrics.
- Undertake any additional tasks assigned by management.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree is mandatory.
- Preference given to candidates with internship experience, not necessarily within the banking industry.
- Strong communication skills combined with an academic background in finance.
- Applicable only to fresh UAE National graduates.
