Role Overview
Join the Joint Replacement team at Stryker based in Gold Coast, Queensland, and support surgeons performing hip and knee replacement surgeries. This role offers a unique chance to launch a rewarding career in medical device sales by working with cutting-edge orthopedic technologies, including the MAKO robotic-arm assisted surgical platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist surgeons throughout hip and knee replacement operations.
- Deliver clinical and technical support within the operating theatre setting.
- Develop proficiency with MAKO robotic-assisted surgical technology.
- Establish and maintain professional relationships with surgeons, nursing staff, and theatre personnel.
- Collaborate closely with Territory Managers to implement strategic territory plans.
- Support account management and contribute to sales growth initiatives.
- Coordinate surgical case preparation, including instruments and implant logistics.
- Continuously update product knowledge related to Joint Replacement technologies.
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences, Biomedical Science, Physiotherapy, Nursing, Engineering, Exercise Science, Business, or a related field.
- Possession of a current driver's licence.
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively within Gold Coast and nearby areas.
- Comfort and capability to work in complex operating theatre environments.
Preferred Background
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in healthcare, medical devices, clinical support, pharmaceuticals, sales, engineering, or customer-facing roles.
- Proven experience assisting healthcare professionals or customers in technical contexts.
- Familiarity with managing equipment, inventory, logistics, or project-oriented duties.
- Exposure to orthopaedics, surgery, rehabilitation, sports medicine, or implantable medical devices is advantageous.
