About the Role
We are seeking an Associate Retirement Consultant to collaborate closely with Retirement Consultants, acting as the primary daily contact for a client portfolio. Responsibilities will include preparing reports, attending client meetings regularly, and supporting the delivery of tailored advice to meet client requirements. This role offers a blend of virtual and on-site work at our Dublin office.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist consultants in managing and servicing clients according to established procedures.
- Develop strong working relationships with both consultants and clients.
- Progress towards independently managing a client portfolio.
- Address queries from consultants, clients, and providers autonomously.
- Remain informed on industry trends and help identify opportunities for revenue growth within existing accounts.
- Engage actively in client-related projects as necessary.
- Communicate effectively at all organizational levels to maintain and build client relationships.
- Participate in client meetings and contribute as needed.
- Prepare and sometimes deliver member presentation materials.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, professional and business standards.
- Analyze data, develop approaches for work tasks, and review standard client reports.
- Identify cross-selling prospects for actuarial, investment, and other business areas across Aon Ireland.
- Support initiatives to streamline client management processes and increase operational efficiency within the Consultants Priorities Group.
Required Skills and Experience
- Minimum three years of relevant experience in financial or professional services.
- Experience with Defined Contribution pensions is advantageous.
- Currently pursuing or possessing QFA or IIPM professional qualification, including up-to-date CPD and meeting regulatory requirements.
- Proven success in managing client service delivery and multiple stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and project management abilities to handle multiple concurrent projects.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with company-wide capabilities to better serve client needs.
- Self-motivated with a proactive attitude and team-oriented mindset.
- Effective problem solving and analytical skills for anticipating future challenges.
- Ability to plan, prioritize, and execute tasks efficiently under pressure.
- Confident in managing client expectations and inquiries.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities for effective client management.
