Role and Responsibilities

• Provide expert legal services focused on estate and succession planning.
• Work autonomously and collaboratively alongside a Director and senior associates specializing in complex estate planning.
• Conduct thorough due diligence on clients’ existing documents, situations, and asset ownership structures, delivering detailed reports of findings.
• Draft sophisticated Wills, enduring powers of attorney, and related estate planning instruments.
• Collaborate closely with clients, referrers, accountants, and financial planners to design customized estate plans and asset protection strategies.
• Manage legal files with exceptional attention to detail and rigor in following legal procedures.
• Offer strong technical insight on advanced estate planning matters.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

• At least 4 years’ post-admission experience (PAE), or a minimum of 2 years working specifically within succession law or related fields such as estate administration or litigation.
• A strong ambition to excel and establish oneself as a leading professional in estate planning.
• Demonstrated passion and expertise in estate planning and succession law.
• Proven track record drafting Wills and providing estate planning advice.
• Outstanding technical legal skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, placing clients at the forefront.
• Proactive approach oriented toward solutions and problem-solving.
• Experience using legal practice management software, preferably Actionstep and NetDocuments.
• Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work.
• Team player mindset with dedication to continual professional growth and learning.

Preferred Qualifications and Backgrounds

• A rural or agricultural background is considered advantageous.
• Exposure to taxation law or relevant professional experience in taxation.
• Experience in commercial transactions, property law, or agribusiness sectors.
