Key Responsibilities
- Lead a cost management team focused on commercial and residential sectors, ensuring exceptional service delivery throughout pre- and post-contract stages.
- Review and approve all service outputs before client delivery, maintaining strict quality standards.
- Manage client relationships directly, sustaining strong engagement and satisfaction.
- Drive business development to secure new clients and repeat projects from existing clientele.
- Oversee major strategic client projects, ensuring alignment and success.
- Identify and pursue cross-selling opportunities within the client base.
- Represent the company at networking events and other promotional platforms.
- Participate in staff management, including recruitment input and performance reviews.
- Contribute to bid proposals by preparing resource schedules and financial fee quotations using company tools.
- Manage financial aspects by monitoring project margins and forecasting fees and resources on a monthly basis.
Candidate Profile
- Extensive experience in cost management within dynamic environments.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience handling pre- and post-contract roles in relevant sectors.
- Proven ability to lead commercial meetings and engage clients effectively.
- Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities.
- Degree in cost management or quantity surveying, or equivalent experience.
- Chartered status, preferably as member of SCSI or RICS.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Passion for nurturing strong team and client relationships in an open, positive work environment.
