Job Summary

Raytheon Saudi Arabia is recruiting an Associate Director for Contracts to lead strategic contract and commercial operations across their programs and business endeavors. Situated at the Riyadh headquarters, this position reports to the Contracts Director for the Middle East and North Africa region. The role oversees contract management, compliance, governance, customer relations, and team leadership in collaboration with various internal departments and Saudi government stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and guide all contract and commercial activities related to Raytheon Saudi Arabia’s projects and pursuits.
• Manage the entire contract lifecycle, including negotiation, review, amendments, administration, and ensuring compliance.
• Collaborate with program and business leaders on assessing contractual risks, proposal development, pricing evaluations, and strategic business decisions.
• Act as a primary liaison with the Saudi Ministry of Defense, other government bodies, and strategic partners.
• Manage customer communications to ensure clear and effective interaction with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to RTX policies, client requirements, and relevant laws and regulations.
• Support governance processes including audits, risk management, and continual enhancements.
• Provide leadership for translation services to meet contractual, technical, and business needs.
• Contribute to localization efforts, industrial participation, strategic growth plans, and overall business operations.
• Lead and mentor a high-performance Contracts and Translation team based in Riyadh and Jeddah.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent professional certification with at least 12 years of experience in contracts, commercial management, legal matters, compliance, or program support.
• Background supporting defense, aerospace, government agencies, or highly regulated industries.
• Proven experience managing complex contract negotiations and customer agreements.
• Experience working with government clients and engaging senior stakeholders.
• Demonstrated leadership ability in developing and coaching teams.
• Strong negotiation skills coupled with effective communication and relationship management capabilities.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, global environment.
• Robust business insight with experience enhancing profitability, managing risk, and ensuring cash collection goals.

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional certifications in contracts, law, commercial management, finance, or business.
• Work experience based in Saudi Arabia or the broader Middle East region.
• Knowledge of procurement processes and regulatory frameworks specific to the Saudi government.
• Familiarity with defense programs, Foreign Military Sales (FMS), or governmental contract environments.
• Experience in localization projects, industrial participation, or managing strategic partnerships.
• Involvement in governance, compliance oversight, or translation management.
• Program management skills.
