Overview

Guidepoint’s Business Development team is dedicated to expanding relationships with both new and existing clients by supporting a variety of service offerings. The team plays a key role in forming partnerships that assist clients in staying well-informed and making superior business decisions. At the Dubai office, the Business Development Associate supports the growth strategy by developing a solid pipeline of prospects across diverse industry sectors, offering an excellent opportunity to influence Guidepoint's expansion and gain experience in a global business setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Initiate outreach to potential clients through targeted calls and emails to convert prospects into active clients.
  • Foster and maintain relationships between prospective customers and senior business development managers, arranging meetings to further business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with senior team members to produce persuasive sales materials and content effectively communicating Guidepoint's value proposition.
  • Gain thorough knowledge of companies and markets to articulate Guidepoint’s offerings persuasively.
  • Conduct research on targeted industries, sub-sectors, and companies to identify their challenges and information requirements.
  • Track and assess competitors to shape effective sales strategies.
  • Provide leadership with client and prospect feedback to enhance outreach efforts.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree accompanied by a strong academic background and participation in extracurricular activities.
  • 1 to 2 years of practical experience in sales or business development within the Middle East.
  • Proficiency in English both spoken and written; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the sales cycle from lead generation to managing client relationships.
  • Ability to handle cold outreach effectively and engage stakeholders at multiple levels including senior leadership.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills suitable for interacting with high-profile clients.
  • A collaborative team player with a self-motivated and proactive approach.
  • Comfortable working in dynamic, fast-moving entrepreneurial environments and demonstrating initiative.
  • Exceptional relationship-building and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Experience utilizing CRM and sales software such as Salesforce.
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office applications including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
