Overview
The Strategic Research team is central to Guidepoint’s achievements, dedicated to providing exemplary service to clients across the Asia-Pacific region. This team excels in comprehending each client’s unique business challenges, delivering crucial insights that equip clients to make informed, strategic decisions.
As an Associate in this team, your primary focus will be to connect clients with expert Advisors in various industries, primarily in the United States. Your responsibilities will include industry research relevant to clients’ inquiries and expanding the network by recruiting top-tier subject matter experts. You will collaborate closely with Project Managers and Research Managers located in South Korea.
This role involves working the 4:30 PM to 1:00 AM IST shift to accommodate global collaboration. Initially remote, it will transition to a hybrid work format based around Mumbai or Gurugram offices, with flexible arrangements to support this shift.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze client research requests thoroughly to identify subject matter experts appropriate across various industries, geographies, and topics.
- Engage potential Advisors via multiple channels including phone and professional networks to recruit them effectively by clearly conveying project relevance.
- Screen and evaluate expert suitability for projects, preparing detailed professional profiles for client use.
- Cultivate a collaborative atmosphere by maintaining strong relationships with colleagues, office teams, and Advisors.
Qualifications and Skills
- Possession of a bachelor’s degree with a notable academic background.
- Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
- An extroverted personality capable of engaging professionals at all organizational levels.
- Keen interest in sourcing and lead generation functions.
- Strong intellectual curiosity with a commitment to continuous learning.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong organizational and time management capabilities.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Experience or willingness to thrive in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.
