Role Summary
The Assistant Villa Operations Manager supports the Villa Operations Manager in running the daily operations of private villas at the resort. This role demands operational leadership, attentive guest service, staff supervision, and interdepartmental collaboration to ensure top-tier service delivery.
Primary Responsibilities
- Assist in overseeing the daily functioning of all villas within the resort.
- Manage and guide Villa Hosts to uphold exemplary service standards.
- Coordinate villa arrivals, departures, housekeeping activities, and maintenance tasks.
- Perform pre-arrival inspections to ensure villas meet luxury quality benchmarks.
- Manage VIP guest arrivals, ensuring personalized service that respects guest preferences.
- Address and resolve guest complaints promptly and courteously.
- Plan and conduct training sessions for Villa Hosts and evaluate their performance regularly.
- Ensure adherence to resort standard operating procedures, health, safety, and quality protocols.
- Work cohesively with Front Office, Housekeeping, Engineering, Food & Beverage, and Guest Relations departments to deliver seamless guest experiences.
- Monitor operational expenses and assist in managing departmental budgets effectively.
- Maintain comprehensive guest profiles and preferences using the Opera property management system.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- A bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality, Tourism, or relevant discipline is preferred.
- At least two years of experience in villa or luxury resort operations.
- Experience working within 5-star hotels or luxury resorts, ideally involving butler or villa host services.
- Strong leadership capabilities, excellent communication, and service-oriented mindset.
- Proficient in Opera PMS or similar hotel management software.
- Fluent in English; knowledge of additional languages is advantageous.
