Role Summary
The role involves leading the Domain Support team to maintain and support enterprise domain operations, ensuring optimal service delivery within budget constraints.
Key Responsibilities
- Support all bank divisions with compliant IT systems adhering to established IT standards.
- Contribute to setting strategies, standards, and guidelines for hardware, software, and security of the enterprise domain network aligned with group-wide Windows and server security policies.
- Implement KPIs and best practices to enhance domain support efficiency.
- Drive cost-efficiency and productivity improvements to minimize expenses and maximize organizational benefits.
- Serve as liaison between the Domain team and customers internally and externally, including maintaining contact with the Head of Technical Support.
- Oversee support for non-core servers and infrastructure applications such as Active Directory, Exchange, Enterprise Backup, Sharepoint, and others, including installation, upgrades, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
- Supervise administrators and consultants as necessary.
- Coordinate with Program Directors and management to streamline workflows.
- Work with Quality Assurance to generate performance measurement reports for analysis.
- Ensure adherence to SLAs for internal departments to improve turnaround times.
- Build strong collaborations with related departments to advance group objectives.
- Provide precise data to auditors, compliance, financial controls, and risk teams as required.
- Standardize operating methods and procedures following best practices.
- Specify and recommend hardware and software solutions for division users.
- Manage installations, diagnose, and repair system components.
- Collaborate with management in computer infrastructure planning.
- Develop lifecycle processes and guidelines for enterprise domain component implementation and upkeep.
- Document and resolve hardware, software, and setup issues efficiently.
- Draft detailed enterprise user component requirements within project and budget limits.
- Assist with business continuity and contingency planning strategies and guidelines for enterprise networks.
- Participate in recruitment processes for domain support team members.
- Research and suggest new products and standards.
- Ensure backup staffing for critical tasks and manage staff assignments for holidays or breakdowns.
- Lead vendor selection and contract assignments following purchasing policies.
- Conduct project progress meetings to allocate and review work assignments.
- Collaborate with administrators to deploy new hardware and software applications.
- Administer all servers including domain controllers, disaster recovery sites, branch, and departmental servers.
- Maintain system uptime to maximize user productivity.
- Apply required software patches and upgrades while responding to user issues.
- Troubleshoot and upgrade server hardware and operating systems.
- Conduct proactive maintenance of all domain-related computer equipment.
- Manage Microsoft Active Directory administration including user accounts and email services.
- Administer disaster recovery setups and represent the site on the Disaster Recovery committee, participating in tests.
- Oversee domain services, multiple SQL servers, IIS servers, and terminal servers.
- Create and maintain comprehensive system documentation.
- Inspire team members to develop leadership skills and promote collaborative teamwork.
- Motivate staff to provide consistent 24/7 support aligned with help desk principles.
- Lead continuous improvement programs encouraging innovative practices beyond industry standards.
- Support professional development through training and knowledge-sharing to keep the team updated with evolving technologies.
- Comply with all legal, regulatory, and internal compliance obligations, including AML, fraud control, data protection, and insider dealing policies.
- Implement risk management and reporting processes aligning with operational risk management frameworks.
- Protect sensitive data and maintain customer confidentiality, sharing information only with authorized senior management and regulatory bodies.

- Perform any other ad hoc duties as assigned by management.
Educational and Professional Criteria
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field is required.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial services with expertise in managing systems network design, implementation, and maintenance is mandatory.
