Mountain Warehouse is seeking a passionate Assistant Store Manager to join their retail team in Westgate, Auckland, New Zealand. This role focuses on delivering outstanding customer service and supporting the Store Manager in achieving store success through strong leadership and operational management.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Store Manager to lead and motivate a dynamic and engaged team, fostering a cooperative work culture.
• Promote ongoing staff development and training to empower team growth and enhance product knowledge.
• Oversee daily store operations ensuring compliance with company policies, maintaining high standards in visual merchandising, cleanliness, and safety.
• Prioritize health and safety by conducting regular risk assessments to secure a safe environment for both customers and staff.
• Participate actively in hiring and retaining skilled employees to build a reliable and effective team.
• Contribute to achieving sales targets and improving store profitability through monitoring KPIs and managing stock replenishment efficiently.
• Implement loss prevention measures to safeguard store assets.
• Lead by example in providing exceptional customer experiences and promptly addressing customer feedback to maintain brand loyalty.
• Represent the Mountain Warehouse brand professionally and build positive relationships within the local community to create a welcoming shopping atmosphere.
