Role Overview

As an Assistant Store Manager, you will be a pivotal figure in daily store operations, supporting the Store Manager to achieve commercial success. You'll lead, coach, and develop a motivated team while exemplifying the signature selling approach to deliver an outstanding customer experience. In the Store Manager's absence, you will oversee the store's successful operation and trading activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze sales data, KPIs, and customer feedback to drive store performance and make strategic commercial decisions.
  • Assist the Store Manager in formulating and executing business strategies to meet sales objectives.
  • Maintain brand standards through effective visual merchandising and product display to maximize commercial impact.
  • Foster a diverse and inclusive team environment by supporting development and cultivating engagement.
  • Provide clear communication, constructive feedback, and conduct regular development discussions with team members.

  • Serve as a brand ambassador on the shop floor, showcasing deep product knowledge and passion for storytelling.
  • Motivate the team to create personalized customer experiences using the established selling ceremony.

  • Support operational tasks including staff scheduling, stock control, cash handling, and compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Plan adequate staffing aligned with commercial demands and seasonal trends.
  • Ensure the store maintains high standards in appearance, stock management, and overall operational efficiency.
