Assistant Store Manager

Position Objective

• Guarantee that retail employees deliver exceptional customer service and possess necessary skills to optimize sales.
• Support the Store Manager in managing efficient and profitable store operations aligned with company policies and procedures.
• Take full responsibility for the store's operations during the Store Manager's absence.
• Encourage participation in the company’s Loyalty Program to boost customer retention and repeat purchases.
• Communicate regular feedback on staff performance and product matters to Store and Area Managers.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a fashionable, well-presented appearance and stay informed of current product knowledge to minimize inventory losses.
• Continuously stay updated on new products, trends, and fashion directives to anticipate and meet customer demands effectively.
• Ensure retail staff are skilled to provide top-tier customer service aimed at maximizing sales.
• Help implement store operating procedures as per company standards alongside the Store Manager.
• Enforce compliance with brand and company policies among all staff consistently.
• Conduct regular audits of store administrative tasks and promptly address any issues.
• Oversee daily staff scheduling, manage leaves, and handle any grievances among retail employees.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards at all times according to established guidelines.
• Promote the Club Apparel Loyalty Program to encourage repeat business.
• Provide ongoing feedback to the Store Manager or Area Manager regarding employees and product status.
• Remain vigilant regarding security within the store to prevent any negligence.
• Stay knowledgeable about the group’s various brands to enhance suggestive selling opportunities.
• Be prepared to assume complete store responsibility when the Store Manager is absent.
• Physically capable of standing for long durations and handling heavy lifting tasks.
