Role Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivating Assistant Store Manager who will support the Store Manager in running daily operations and leading the team. This role focuses on delivering an exceptional customer experience, achieving sales targets, and inspiring the store team to contribute to our ongoing success.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with the store team to consistently exceed customer expectations.
- Act as deputy for the Store Manager, managing store operations when required.
- Assist in sales target achievement and in fostering team engagement and motivation.
- Provide support and training to team members to ensure delivery of the unique "Tapi difference" customer service.
- Help onboard new Tapi colleagues through the induction process.
- Drive sales performance to meet and surpass individual sales goals.
- Maintain the store's appearance, supporting promotional displays and changes.
- Manage customer complaints tactfully to ensure satisfactory resolutions.
- Continually seek improvements benefiting customers, colleagues, and the overall Tapi business.
- Accurately enter customer order details using Tapi’s technology on a regular basis.
- Ensure full compliance with all health, safety, and security standards established by Tapi.
Candidate Profile
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a deep understanding of customers and a strong ability to sell.
- Self-driven, energetic, and inspirational leadership style, leading by example.
- A balanced focus on both achieving sales targets and providing outstanding customer care.
- Skilled in applying consultative sales techniques to build rapport and trust quickly.
- Good judgment in handling challenging situations and confident in addressing difficult conversations with tact.
- A passionate brand ambassador who embodies the "Tapi difference".
- Comfortable and proactive in using store technology and systems; willing to learn if unfamiliar.
- Flexible and efficient in scheduling work to serve customers effectively without delays.
