Role overview
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Assistant Store Manager who will work alongside the Store Manager to lead the store operations, motivate the team, and deliver excellent customer service. The position involves driving sales, training new employees, ensuring store appearance, managing customer relations and complaints, and continuously improving store processes.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with the store team to consistently deliver outstanding customer experiences.
- Act as deputy for the Store Manager covering all operational aspects of the store.
- Support store management in achieving sales targets and boosting team motivation.
- Train and assist the store team to uphold Tapi’s high service standards.
- Help onboard and induct new employees.
- Meet or exceed personal sales goals.
- Maintain an exceptional store environment and support in promotional efforts.
- Handle customer complaints tactfully and effectively.
- Strive for continuous improvements benefiting customers and colleagues.
- Use Tapi’s technology systems accurately for processing customer orders.
- Adhere strictly to Tapi’s health, safety, and security protocols.

- Strong people skills: possessing an understanding of customer needs and motivated by sales success.
- Self-driven, enthusiastic, and leads by example to inspire the team.
- Balances being sales-driven with a genuine customer-focused approach, applying consultative sales techniques.
- Exhibits sound judgement in managing difficult conversations and maintaining positive outcomes.

- Comfortable with technology and eager to learn store systems.
- Flexible, prioritizes store and customer needs, and effectively manages scheduling.
