Position Overview

The Assistant Store Manager plays a key role in supporting the Store Manager to ensure the store operates efficiently and profitably, aligning with company policies. This role demands taking full charge in the Store Manager's absence and fostering excellent customer service and sales performance.

Primary Responsibilities

• Guarantee outstanding customer service by empowering retail staff with necessary skills and support to boost sales.
• Assist with day-to-day store operations adhering to company standards and policies.
• Take complete responsibility for store management when the Store Manager is unavailable.
• Drive the company's Loyalty Program actively to increase customer retention and repeat purchases.
• Provide regular reports and feedback on staff performance and product insights to Store and Area Managers.
• Stay fashion-forward and maintain current product knowledge to prevent stock loss.
• Ensure retail team's expertise and customer interaction aligns with highest service standards.
• Uphold brand and company policy compliance amongst all staff consistently.
• Conduct periodic audits of store administration and promptly resolve any discrepancies.
• Manage rostering, leave schedules, and address staff grievances effectively.
• Maintain visual merchandising in line with brand guidelines at all times.
• Maintain vigilance on store security to prevent any lapses.
• Stay informed on all group brands to aid in suggestive selling.
• Physically capable of standing long hours and handling heavy items as required.
