About the Role
Join Superdrug as an Assistant Store Manager in Reading, Berkshire. This position involves supporting the Store Manager to lead a passionate team, maximize sales, and maintain operational excellence within a fast-paced retail environment. The role requires working full-time with flexible shifts across mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruit, motivate, and inspire a dynamic team to consistently exceed targets.
- Drive sales by managing promotions, merchandising effectively, and overseeing stock control.
- Create an engaging and enjoyable atmosphere for both customers and team members.
- Maintain smooth store operations including conducting audits, managing budgets, and controlling inventory.
Candidate Profile
- At least one year of previous retail management experience is required.
- Strong passion for delivering exceptional customer service and achieving sales goals.
- Effective decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
- A results-oriented approach with enthusiasm for meeting targets.
- Optional: Willingness to perform piercing services for customers, with full training provided.
