Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Assistant Store Manager to join and lead the vibrant team at our newly opened Belfast store. This role demands a strong retail sales background, exceptional leadership, and a commitment to exceeding both team and company objectives. The successful candidate will ensure smooth daily operations while promoting an outstanding customer experience.
Primary Responsibilities
- Exemplify a determined sales drive by leading through example.
- Maintain continuous communication with and provide motivation to the sales team.
- Deliver superior customer service consistently.
- Serve as the primary contact for the store when coordinating with internal departments.
- Regularly coach the team to reinforce product knowledge, company policies, and brand values.
- Handle people management duties in collaboration with HR and senior management.
- Prepare and submit regular reports to senior management.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Strong communication and coaching capabilities.
- Proven people management experience and ability to work collaboratively.
- Excellent organizational and administrative skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and aptitude for learning internal systems.
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- Initiative to resolve issues independently and escalate when necessary.
- Prior experience in furniture retail is beneficial though not mandatory.
