Assistant Store Manager

Position Objective

• Ensure retail staff delivers exceptional customer service, equipped with necessary skills and support to maximize sales.
• Support the Store Manager in running the store efficiently and profitably in line with company policies and procedures.
• Take full ownership of store operations in the Store Manager's absence.
• Promote the company’s Loyalty Program to encourage customer retention and repeat purchases.
• Provide regular feedback regarding employees and products to the Store Manager and Area Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a fashionable and well-groomed appearance alongside up-to-date product knowledge to minimize stock loss.
• Stay informed about the latest products, trends, and fashion directives to effectively meet customer demands.
• Ensure all retail staff are trained to provide excellent customer service to boost sales.
• Assist the Store Manager in enforcing store operational procedures as per company standards.
• Ensure strict adherence to brand and company policies by all staff members at all times.
• Conduct regular audits of store administration and promptly resolve any issues encountered.
• Manage staff rosters, leaves, and grievances efficiently.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards continually in alignment with company guidelines.
• Actively promote the Club Apparel Loyalty Program to foster repeat business.
• Provide ongoing feedback to Store and Area Managers about staff performance and product trends.
• Maintain security vigilance throughout the store to prevent negligence.
• Stay knowledgeable about the group’s various brands to facilitate suggestive selling.
• Physically capable of standing for long periods and performing heavy lifting as required.
