About the Role
Join Beacon Lighting at our Melrose Park store as an Assistant Store Manager and take your retail leadership career to the next level. This full-time position supports the Store Manager in motivating your team, boosting sales, and delivering exceptional customer experiences. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and nurture your team through effective coaching, mentoring, and hands-on management.
- Enhance sales performance across retail, trade, and design sectors by driving commercial growth.
- Provide standout customer service that results in memorable in-store experiences.
- Develop and maintain strong trade relationships and actively promote the Retail & Trade Loyalty Program.
- Advise customers confidently to assist in selecting the best lighting and design options.
- Ensure the store maintains high standards in visual merchandising and presentation.
- Champion a culture of safety and wellbeing by keeping a safe environment for both customers and staff.
- Collaborate with the Store Manager to meet operational targets and elevate store performance.
Candidate Profile
- Experience in retail, sales, or customer service roles with a proven track record of success.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to motivate and develop team members.
- A positive, curious mindset with a willingness to learn and grow professionally.
- The capacity to remain calm and detail-oriented under pressure, balancing various tasks.
- Proactive in problem-solving and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- A valid driver's license and readiness to take a hands-on approach when necessary.
