Position Summary
We are searching for a dedicated Assistant Store Manager to join our expanding retail division in Australia and New Zealand. This role offers an opportunity to work with products beloved by collectors, fans, and families alike, within a vibrant, creative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead team members by providing coaching, motivation, and development support.
- Assist with staff recruitment, onboarding, and training efforts.
- Deliver continual feedback to enhance performance and foster a positive workplace culture.
- Drive commercial success by supporting sales targets and monitoring key performance indicators.
- Analyze store performance metrics to uncover areas for growth and improvement.
- Maintain a customer-centric and sales-focused atmosphere in-store.
- Support operational aspects, including roster planning, inventory management, and upholding store presentation standards.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and assist during product launches, promotional activities, and busy trading periods.
Candidate Profile
- Previous experience as an Assistant Store Manager, Supervisor, or second-in-command role in retail.
- Strong passion for enhancing customer experiences and mentoring teams.
- Confidence in coaching and leading staff members with a results-driven approach.
- Commercially savvy with a focus on achieving KPIs.
- Organized, flexible, and solutions-oriented mindset.
- Capability to thrive in a fast-paced retail setting.
Availability & Working Conditions
- Applicants must have flexible availability throughout all seven days of the week.
- Typical working hours involve weekends, late-night shifts, and public holidays.
- The company strives to offer structured schedules that include two consecutive days off each week to support work-life balance.
- Flexibility is necessary to accommodate peak sales periods, especially from November through January, as well as major product launches.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary starting around $68,000 annually, with adjustment possible depending on experience.
