Assistant Store Manager

As an Assistant Store Manager based at YorkDale Shopping Centre, you will work alongside the Store Manager to foster a dynamic sales culture aimed at meeting or surpassing sales targets, key performance indicators (KPIs), and profitability objectives through strategic planning and expense management. You will ensure that customers consistently receive exceptional service aligned with Psycho Bunny’s core values.

Primary Responsibilities

• Assist in overseeing daily store operations to achieve profit and loss goals and KPIs.
• Contribute to recruiting, training, developing, and retaining a motivated and effective team.
• Embody and convey the brand’s values, culture, and positive attitude in all interactions.
• Implement store programs, policies, seasonal initiatives, and specific store requirements under Store Manager guidance.
• Collaborate with the Store Manager to create and execute clear action plans, meeting defined objectives and deadlines.
• Take responsibility for training staff across business operations, sales, and customer service to uphold retail standards.
• Support team efforts to deliver excellent guest experiences, including identifying customer needs, providing product knowledge, and facilitating transactions and omnichannel services like buy online pickup in store, phone sales, and ship-from-store.
• Assist in the hiring process, onboarding, and managing performance of team members.
• Engage in career development discussions to help team members understand their growth within Psycho Bunny.
• Maintain an active presence on the sales floor to respond to business, team, and customer needs promptly.
• Address customer feedback, resolve escalated issues, and handle urgent requests to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, including Covid-19 protocols, to maintain a secure environment for staff and customers.
• Build collaborative and supportive relationships across the team focused on personal and professional growth.

Experience & Qualifications

• A minimum of three years experience in a comparable retail management role is required.

Compensation & Benefits

• Annual salary between 45000 and 53000 USD.
