As an Assistant Store Leader, you will join a dynamic management team focused on driving retail success and delivering exceptional service. This full-time, onsite position offers a valuable opportunity to develop leadership skills and advance within the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and direction for customer service, employee training, and coaching alongside the Store Leader.
- Maintain strong employee retention by recruiting qualified candidates, developing future leaders, and motivating staff to maintain high productivity.
- Support the implementation of merchandising and marketing initiatives to meet store objectives.
- Handle cash transactions, fuel sales, and actively promote the loyalty program to customers.
- Ensure the store environment meets health and safety standards by keeping the premises clean, safe, and well-stocked.
Candidate Profile and Requirements
- Previous supervisory or management experience in retail is required, with proven leadership capabilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal abilities.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
- High school diploma or GED preferred; candidates with a minimum of one year in retail management may be considered without formal education.
- Valid driver's license and automotive liability insurance as required by state regulations.
- Physical ability to multitask and perform physical activities including bending, standing, reaching, and lifting items up to 50 pounds.
