Paduka Hospitality operates multiple food outlets including Idlinama, TN Express, and Savoia across the Delhi NCR region. As part of our expansion efforts, we are seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager to support daily operations at our outlets, reporting directly to the Outlet or General Manager.

Role Overview

The Assistant Manager will supervise front-of-house activities and collaborate closely with kitchen teams to guarantee seamless service, ensuring guest satisfaction and staff efficiency during shifts. Responsibilities include managing the expo station and organizing packaging and delivery order flow.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage floor operations throughout assigned shifts, including oversight of service staff, hosts, and billing procedures.
• Operate the expo station by verifying dish accuracy, presentation, and completeness before dishes leave the kitchen for dine-in or delivery.
• Supervise packaging of takeaway and delivery orders to ensure correct items and portions, secure sealing, and timely handover to delivery partners.
• Coordinate order flow and timing with the Executive Chef and kitchen team during busy periods.
• Prioritize and sequence dine-in and delivery orders effectively to prevent service delays.
• Handle staff scheduling, attendance tracking, and shift changeovers.
• Provide on-the-job training to junior team members on service, hygiene, point-of-sale systems, and packaging standards.
• Monitor inventories of consumables, service materials, and packaging supplies, reporting any shortages.
• Enforce hygiene, safety, and grooming standards across the outlet.
• Assist with cash and billing reconciliations as well as daily reporting tasks.
• Assume outlet management duties in the absence of the Outlet Manager.

Candidate Requirements

• Between no experience and 4 years in restaurant or hospitality operations, with a minimum of 1 year in a supervisory capacity.
• Familiarity with POS systems and basic billing processes.
• Able to effectively work the expo line during peak service under pressure.
• Strong communication abilities; fluency in spoken Hindi is essential, English proficiency is advantageous.
• Capability to remain calm and effective during high-pressure service periods.
• Flexibility to work rotational shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Previous experience in South Indian cuisine, QSR, or full-service dining environments is a desirable bonus.

Compensation and Benefits

• Fixed monthly salary between INR 22,000 and INR 25,000 plus performance-related incentives.
