Role Overview

As the Assistant Restaurant Manager for All Day Dining, you will assist in overseeing daily operations of the dining outlet. Your focus will be on delivering an exceptional guest experience while maintaining top-notch service, food quality, and operational effectiveness. You will lead and motivate the restaurant team, enhance guest satisfaction, and ensure compliance with brand standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Restaurant Manager in managing daily restaurant activities across all meal times.
• Lead and inspire the team to provide warm, attentive, and personalized service.
• Maintain a strong presence on the restaurant floor to engage guests and promptly address their needs.
• Ensure consistent service quality, food presentation, cleanliness, table arrangements, and ambiance.
• Handle guest feedback professionally and implement effective service recovery when needed.
• Support operational protocols including opening and closing duties, and adherence to hygiene and safety regulations.
• Help plan and schedule staff shifts based on business needs and operational demands.
• Conduct daily team briefings covering promotions, events, VIP visits, and service expectations.
• Coach team members through hands-on training, feedback, and performance evaluations.
• Guarantee compliance with food safety standards, hygiene, health and safety laws, and HACCP guidelines.
• Monitor inventory, supplies, equipment, and minimize waste to maintain cost control.
• Collaborate with other hotel departments such as Kitchen, Stewarding, Housekeeping, and Engineering to ensure smooth operations.
• Assist in tracking restaurant revenue, average guest spend, productivity, and other KPIs.
• Support the execution of promotions, special events, and hotel-wide programs.
• Act as Restaurant Manager when required, taking full operational and team responsibility.
• Build authentic relationships with guests, delivering tailored and memorable visits.
• Anticipate and exceed guest needs for an exceptional experience.
• Develop positive interactions with regular guests and hotel residents.
• Ensure effective communication of guest preferences and special requests to staff.
• Uphold service recovery initiatives to resolve guest issues with care and professionalism.
• Lead by example to foster an inclusive and motivating work environment.

Candidate Profile

• Experience in supervisory or management roles within high-volume restaurants, hotels, resorts, or luxury hospitality settings.
• Background in All Day Dining, buffet service, or similar restaurant formats is highly beneficial.
• Strong understanding of restaurant operations, service excellence, and food safety protocols.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, engage, and grow a diverse team.
• Commercial insight related to restaurant revenue management and cost containment.
• Prior experience with an international luxury hotel brand preferred.
