About the Role
The Hotel Bristol Berlin, a longstanding and prestigious establishment on Kurfürstendamm with approximately 300 rooms and suites, is known for delivering both quality and efficient guest service. Key Responsibilities
- Monitor hotel revenues to ensure accurate recording and posting of all transactions.
- Utilize systems such as Opera, POS, and PeopleSoft to maintain clean and integrated financial data.

- Prepare and review various financial reports, gaining comprehensive insight into the hotel's financial operations.
- Verify cancellations, discounts, complimentary services, paid-outs, and credit card transactions as part of financial control.
- Support the Finance team during monthly closing activities and in internal and external audits.
- Work closely with Front Office, Food & Beverage, Revenue Management, and Accounting to serve as a critical link between Finance and hotel operations.
- Contribute ideas to improve and refine our accounting processes.
Qualifications and Skills
- Completed training in hospitality, commercial business, or accounting.
- Prior experience in accounting, finance, income audit, or front office is advantageous but not mandatory.

- Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
- Experience with Opera or PeopleSoft is a plus; training will be provided if unfamiliar.

Additional Information
If you come from hotel operations and want to progress professionally, this position offers an excellent opportunity. Whether transitioning from Front Office with Opera knowledge or from a commercial background interested in hospitality finance, your understanding of numbers, attention to detail, curiosity, and willingness to take responsibility are valued more than years of accounting experience.
