Role Overview
The Assistant Online Manager position offers an engaging and inclusive team environment where you can be authentic while contributing to a consistently positive shopping experience for customers. This role serves as an entry point to a retail leadership career, providing opportunities to develop key management skills, supported by the Store Leadership Pathway. Assistant Managers are essential to the daily operations of their department, collaborating across the store to ensure excellent customer service and a supportive workplace.
Key Responsibilities
- Create a welcoming atmosphere by practicing Everyday ACTs - namely Acknowledge, Care, and Thank customers.
- Prioritize safety by ensuring adherence to correct procedures for both staff and shoppers.
- Learn departmental functions thoroughly to assist the team effectively in daily tasks.
- Collaborate well with colleagues to achieve positive results.
- Develop an understanding of your personal leadership style with a view to future growth.
- Support cross-store efforts to deliver a seamless shopping experience for customers.
- Maintain curiosity and eagerness to build skills and progress your career.
Work Schedule
Work a four-day workweek balancing personal needs and business demands; example roster includes shifts from Tuesday to Saturday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
