Role Overview

As an Assistant Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting the management of a single store, focusing on hiring, guiding, and leading associates to meet financial objectives and ensure top-tier guest experiences. You'll be instrumental in driving store success and will receive comprehensive leadership training lasting at least three weeks to equip you for this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing daily store operations.
  • Recruit, manage, and oversee associates to achieve financial goals.
  • Ensure exceptional service that delivers outstanding guest experiences.

Skills and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
  • Availability to work flexible hours including opening and closing shifts, evenings, weekends, and holidays as per business demands.
  • Willingness to relocate within a 50-mile radius if needed.
  • Serve Safe certification for food safety compliance.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

The role requires operating in a busy kitchen environment with exposure to heat, steam, and noise. Employees must be capable of standing for extended periods (up to four hours), lifting up to 50 pounds, working around kitchen equipment including Chinese cook knives, and managing food preparation quickly and accurately. Effective verbal communication and adaptability to dynamic work conditions are essential.
