Assistant Manager - Retail

Job Overview

We are seeking an Assistant Manager for our retail team located in Concord, Ontario, Canada. This permanent full-time role requires a motivated professional with relevant experience to supervise staff, manage inventory, and ensure smooth operational performance in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and allocate duties among the retail staff effectively.
• Decide on the merchandise assortment and services offered to customers.
• Assess and determine staffing needs to meet operational demands.
• Address and resolve customer concerns including complaints and supply issues.

Skills and Knowledge

• Proficient in using point of sale (POS) technology.
• Maintain security and safety standards including undergoing necessary criminal record checks.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 2 but less than 3 years of relevant retail or supervisory experience.
