About the Role

Panda Express, a leading American Chinese restaurant group, is seeking experienced leaders to join its store management team as Assistant Managers. This role involves overseeing daily operations of a single store, including hiring, managing, and directing associates to meet financial objectives while ensuring exceptional customer experiences. New hires will undergo a comprehensive store leadership training program lasting three or more weeks to prepare for success.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing all aspects of one store's operations to meet company standards and financial goals.
  • Hire, guide, and supervise associates to promote effective teamwork and productivity.
  • Ensure delivery of outstanding guest service at all times.
  • Participate in store leadership training to develop management skills and operational knowledge.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • High school diploma is mandatory.
  • Flexibility to relocate within a 50-mile radius of home for store assignments.
  • Availability to work varied shifts including openings, closings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as business demands.
  • Must hold or obtain Food Safety certification (Serve Safe).

Work Environment and Physical Demands

The role requires standing for extended periods, handling hot foods and equipment, lifting items up to 50 pounds, and adapting to a fast-paced, sometimes noisy kitchen environment. Effective communication skills and conflict management abilities are necessary to navigate changing priorities and workplace challenges.
