Assistant Manager - Maintenance

Position Overview

A leading Indian bakery company is seeking an Assistant Manager for Maintenance at their Mumbai facility (Mankoli Naka-Bhiwandi). This role involves overseeing all aspects of maintenance operations including preventive and predictive maintenance scheduling, performing root cause analysis, monitoring maintenance KPIs, managing spares and vendors, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining equipment reliability and utilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance activities and manage preventive and predictive maintenance schedules.
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) to identify and resolve equipment issues efficiently.
• Monitor and report on equipment reliability and maintenance key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Handle management of spares inventory and vendor coordination.
• Ensure adherence to safety procedures and maintain utilities at the plant.

Candidate Profile

• Male candidates with 6 to 7 years of experience in maintenance roles.
• Strong leadership capabilities with expertise in root cause analysis.
• Sound knowledge of industrial machinery, utility systems, safety standards, vendor management, spares handling, and KPI monitoring.
