Role Overview
The Assistant Store Manager will work closely with the Store Manager to oversee all aspects of store operations at the 8983 Cochrane Safeway Liquor location. This leadership role demands a focus on merchandising, inventory management, customer relationship building, and team development to enhance the overall shopping experience.
Primary Responsibilities
- Assist in managing all daily store activities and operations.
- Coach and guide team members to foster personal and professional growth.
- Support goal-setting initiatives and promote staff empowerment.
- Recruit and onboard new employees to build a strong team.
- Participate actively in the performance management process to ensure team effectiveness.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in a retail environment.
- Strong knowledge and adherence to regulatory compliance related to liquor sales.
- Demonstrated passion for delivering excellent customer service and engaging with the community.
- Successful completion of high school education.
- Must meet the legal age requirement to sell liquor products.
