Job description
Position Objective
This role is accountable for designing and deploying training initiatives and supporting career growth within the organization. It includes defining performance benchmarks, assessing productivity levels, and assisting employees with their long-term professional development plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee, strategize, and execute all training programs across GCC for Corporate Functions following existing policies and best practices to support sales targets.
- Initiate and develop new employee learning and development projects aligned with business demands.
- Create and manage the annual training calendar across all brands, coordinating communication and implementation.
- Lead and mentor the training team to enhance training effectiveness and increase conversion rates through innovative methods.
- Conduct training solutions that are financially efficient while maintaining quality.
- Acquire comprehensive product knowledge of new brand additions to the portfolio and train the training staff accordingly.
- Analyze employee training feedback, implementing updates to continuously improve training programs.
- Recommend new learning content and delivery methods to improve training effectiveness.
- Ensure adherence to industry-leading training and development standards within the team.
- Manage measurement of training delivery outcomes, follow-up activities, and maintain accurate documentation.
- Design necessary training courses and programs to address organizational and individual training needs considering a multicultural workforce.
- Implement standardized training processes and modules.
- Launch in-store and leadership development programs focused on enhancing interpersonal skills.
- Travel to corporate offices across regions to evaluate back-office staff skills through observations and mock sessions, providing actionable feedback.
- Motivate, manage, and provide guidance to the training team, including manpower planning for the department.
Desired Experience and Qualifications
- 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in training, human resources, or retail operations.
- Preferable familiarity with learning management systems (LMS).
- Strong skills in communication, presentation, and organization are critical.
- Demonstrated success in organizing and delivering training programs, adaptability in a dynamic retail environment, and effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders are highly valued.
