Role Overview
As an Assistant Manager, you will support the daily operation of a single Panda Express store. Your responsibilities encompass hiring, supervising, and guiding team members to meet financial targets while ensuring outstanding customer experiences. To prepare you, we offer a comprehensive store leadership training that lasts at least three weeks.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Flexibility to relocate within a 50-mile radius if needed
- Availability to work varied schedules including openings, closings, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs
- Food safety certification (Serve Safe) mandatory
Work Environment and Physical Requirements
Employees must often stand for prolonged periods in hot, steamy environments with high noise levels and limited storage space. They must handle hot and cold food preparation, use kitchen tools such as Chinese cook knives, and work efficiently without compromising quality. Lifting up to 50 lbs and reaching across counters up to 36 inches is required. Effective verbal communication, adaptability to changing priorities, and conflict management abilities are essential.
