Job description
Role Summary and Responsibilities
The position involves managing and resolving employee grievances, complaints, and workplace challenges effectively. The role demands expertise in ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards. Key duties include overseeing payroll processes, monitoring attendance and leave management, and maintaining employee records accurately. Facilitating and coordinating the Performance Management System (PMS) activities is essential. The candidate must ensure strict adherence to labour laws, statutory requirements, and corporate policies. Handling employee relations and disciplinary cases forms a significant portion of the job. Recruitment activities including onboarding and confirmation, along with managing the entire employee lifecycle, are also part of the responsibilities.
The role also requires management of HR policies, documentation, audits, and statutory records. Acting as a liaison between management and employees for HR-related issues is crucial. Supporting initiatives aimed at employee engagement and retention is required. Additionally, preparing HR reports, Management Information Systems (MIS), and other reports for organizational leadership is expected.
Required Qualifications and Experience
Candidates should hold a graduate or postgraduate degree specializing in Human Resources, Personnel Management, or related disciplines. A substantial professional background of 10 to 15 years in relevant HR functions, particularly within a manufacturing setting, is necessary. The role demands comprehensive understanding of employee relations, payroll administration, performance management systems, labour compliance, and overall HR operations.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must, as are problem-solving abilities and conflict resolution expertise. The candidate should demonstrate the capacity to manage daily HR operations and employee issues autonomously.
