Job description
Role Overview
The Electrical Maintenance Engineer will take full responsibility for the routine and preventive electrical upkeep of all manufacturing plant machinery, substations, transformers, generators, motors, electrical panels, and related installations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage complete electrical maintenance operations along with preventive maintenance activities for plant equipment.
- Ensure continuous power supply and swiftly address electrical faults, including responding to urgent duty calls as necessary.
- Maintain compliance by keeping statutory documentation, records, and registers up to date, and liaise effectively with Electrical Inspectors, MES, and other relevant authorities.
- Maintain an adequate inventory of critical electrical spares, consumables, tools, and maintenance supplies to avoid downtime.
- Document equipment history, record breakdowns, schedule and perform preventive maintenance, and track job work and inspection reports.
- Implement preventive maintenance plans aimed at minimizing equipment failures, lowering maintenance expenses, and preventing production delays.
- Enforce rigorous electrical safety protocols, including correct isolation procedures, lockout/tagout practices, posting warning signage, and supervising high-tension and substation operations.
Compensation
The monthly remuneration for this role ranges from INR 25,000 to INR 35,000.
