About the Role

Panda Express, a leading family-owned American Chinese restaurant group, is seeking experienced leaders to join their management team in Thousand Oaks, CA. This position involves assisting with the daily operation of a single store, including hiring and supervising staff to achieve financial objectives while ensuring excellent guest experiences. New managers will undergo a comprehensive paid leadership training lasting three or more weeks, plus ongoing mentorship and community support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee store operations and team management.
  • Recruit, train, and direct associates to meet performance goals.
  • Maintain high standards of customer service and operational excellence.

Required Qualifications and Work Conditions

  • High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
  • Flexible to relocate within a 50-mile radius if necessary.
  • Availability to work varied shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays responsive to business demands.
  • Serve Safe certification in food safety is required.
  • Must be able to handle physically demanding tasks such as standing for up to four hours, lifting up to 50 lbs, operating kitchen equipment safely, and working efficiently in hot, noisy environments.
  • Strong verbal communication skills and adaptability to fast-changing priorities and conflict management.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Hourly pay ranges from $26.50 to $29.50 based on location and experience.
