About the Role
Join JYSK Canada as an Assistant Manager at our Thunder Bay location. This full-time retail position involves supporting the store management team by promoting company values, coaching team members, and delivering high-quality customer service. You'll contribute to sales and merchandising plans, fostering a motivated, engaged team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support loss prevention measures, including participation in strategy development and investigations.
- Assist with inventory control, merchandising, and pricing to enhance sales in designated categories.
- Help achieve sales targets and budgets within departmental areas.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum two years of experience in retail management and customer service.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- A positive and dynamic leadership style suited to a fast-paced, ever-changing retail setting.
- Availability to work flexible schedules, including evenings and weekends.
