About the Role

Join Marina Bay Sands as an Assistant Manager within the Entertainment team, a position pivotal to supporting the operational and administrative functions in a dynamic integrated resort setting. This role is integral to orchestrating prominent live entertainment showcases, VIP engagements, and special events, ensuring they meet the resort's high standards and strategic goals. It demands exceptional coordination, meticulous attention to detail, and the collaborative capability to work seamlessly with various internal departments and external collaborators.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with Marketing, Communications, Social Media teams, and event promoters to design and implement promotional activities for shows and entertainment events.
  • Manage the gathering and coordination of marketing content for distribution across the resort’s Entertainment social media platforms, ensuring precision, promptness, and alignment with brand guidelines.
  • Develop detailed briefs to facilitate the creation of marketing collateral such as digital media, social content, and promotional materials.
  • Track and analyze campaign performance, providing insights and recommending improvements to the Marketing teams.
  • Stay informed on the latest trends in social media, entertainment, and hospitality to support innovative campaign initiatives.
  • Assist with on-ground event activations, artist content management, and prepare post-campaign evaluations as needed.
  • Support the sourcing, scheduling, contracting, and administration of artists and event logistics for diverse offerings: the Sands Live Concert Series, Casino Private Events, and special celebrations like Chinese New Year and red carpet premieres.
  • Act as Event Manager for designated events, working closely with senior management to ensure flawless on-site delivery.
  • Collaborate with departments such as Technical Production, Accommodation, F&B, Transportation, and Ticketing to meet artist and event requirements.
  • Coordinate with Legal and Procurement to manage artist contracts, ensuring compliance and timely processing.
  • Maintain oversight of contract statuses and address any risks or delays proactively.
  • Ensure all events comply with licensing, safety regulations, and operational policies.
  • Deliver administrative support including scheduling, documentation, budget oversight, invoice management, and procurement.
  • Keep detailed records of contracts, event details, and departmental operations.
  • Produce post-event reports and contribute to debrief sessions.
  • Manage trackers for event progress, financials, and approvals to aid operational planning.

Candidate Profile

  • A bachelor’s degree in Events Management, Arts & Entertainment, Marketing, or a related discipline is required.
  • Possess 3 to 5 years of pertinent experience in event marketing, coordination, or entertainment sectors.
  • Candidates with deeper experience may be considered for senior-level roles.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Xiaohongshu is a plus.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office; knowledge of project management tools or technical drawing basics is advantageous.
  • Exemplary organizational skills, multitasking ability, and a keen eye for detail are essential.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
  • Willingness to work flexible schedules that may include evenings, weekends, and public holidays depending on event demands.
  • Experience in fast-paced, matrixed, or highly regulated environments will be favorably considered.
