About the Role
Join Panda Express as an Assistant Manager where you will spearhead store operations by overseeing hiring processes, guiding associates, and steering the team towards financial targets while delivering outstanding guest experiences. To equip you for success, we provide over three weeks of comprehensive store leadership training along with ongoing mentorship and community support.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing the daily operations of a single restaurant location.
- Recruit, manage, and direct staff members to accomplish business objectives.
- Work collaboratively to ensure exceptional service quality and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications and Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Flexibility to relocate within 50 miles of home as needed.
- Willingness to work varied schedules including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays according to business demands.
- Certification in Food Safety (Serve Safe) mandatory.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements
Employees operate in warm, often steamy kitchen environments with restricted space and high noise levels. Tasks include preparing hot and cold dishes, using kitchen tools such as Chinese cook knives, and standing for extended periods up to four hours. Ability to lift weights up to 50 lbs and reach across counters is necessary. Effective verbal communication and adaptability in a dynamic, fast-paced setting are essential. Managing conflict and difficult situations is also part of the role.

- Hourly pay between $23.00 and $32.20, dependent on location and experience.
