About the Role

As an Assistant Learning & Development Manager, you'll contribute in a passionate and supportive environment that nurtures career growth, self-discovery, and opportunities within hospitality worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the design, execution, and facilitation of the hotel's training plan and budget, ensuring alignment with the strategic objectives.
- Conduct comprehensive annual analyses to identify training needs in collaboration with department heads.
- Coordinate, deliver, and monitor all training initiatives across the property.
- Develop partnerships with hospitality-related industry bodies, training providers, and academic institutions.
- Keep detailed and up-to-date records of training sessions and participant data.
- Maintain a dynamic training calendar to maximize learning engagements and resource utilization.
- Manage a centralized library of learning media including videos, books, and magazines accessible to all employees.
- Contribute to the orientation and onboarding of new employees.
- Support the rollout of new policies, procedures, and standards.
- Compile and submit periodic training performance reports.
- Be well-informed and comply with hotel safety and emergency protocols.
- Attend all relevant meetings, briefings, and assigned trainings.
- Maintain professional personal appearance and hygiene at all times.
- Perform additional duties as delegated by management aligned with the hotel's goals.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or Hotel Management.
- At least three years of experience in training and facilitation roles.
- Fluency in English and French, including proficient reading, writing, and speaking skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
