Role Overview
The company seeks motivated Assistant Branch Manager Trainees to be nurtured into future branch leaders across banking branches in Kerala. This is a 12-month training program encompassing learning branch operations, sales, compliance, and leadership skills. Trainees will assist Branch Managers in driving business growth, coordinating teams, and delivering excellent customer service while preparing to assume branch leadership responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Support branch sales goals for gold loans, fixed deposits, insurance, and investment products.
- Engage in customer acquisition and product presentations, promoting cross-sales.
- Assist with field activities, promotional events, and lead generation campaigns.
- Manage daily branch operations such as account openings, KYC compliance, and disbursements.
- Ensure strict adherence to RBI, NBFC, and KYC regulations.
- Deliver superior customer service and resolve client inquiries effectively.
- Collaborate with the Branch Manager on meetings, reporting, and team organization.
- Oversee cash, vault, and branch assets, maintaining audit readiness.
- Acquire knowledge of profit and loss management, cost control, and factors affecting branch profitability.
Learning and Growth Opportunities
- Complete comprehensive training on investment, insurance, and gold loan products.
- Shadow the Branch Manager during meetings, client conversations, and strategic decisions.
- Take ownership of specific KPIs evaluated monthly to qualify for promotion to Assistant Branch Manager and Branch Manager roles.
Qualification and Skills
- MBA graduates, including freshers, with a strong interest in sales.
- Effective communication abilities and basic proficiency in MS Excel.
- Target-driven approach with customer service orientation.
- Demonstrated leadership potential, eagerness to learn, and accountability.
- Understanding of insurance and investment products is advantageous.
Performance Metrics During Training
- Achievement of individual and branch sales targets.
- Successful acquisition of new customers and cross-selling rates.
- Accuracy and compliance in operations, KYC, and documentation processes.
- Continuous learning assessments and manager feedback.
Career Progression
Positions advance from Assistant Branch Manager Trainee to Assistant Branch Manager, Branch Manager, and Area Manager. Fast-tracked promotions and sales incentives are performance-based.
