Role Overview
The Assistant Boutique Manager at Christian Louboutin partners closely with the Boutique Manager to oversee all store operations, team management, merchandise handling, and most importantly, leading a high-performing and customer-focused team. This role functions as the Boutique Manager's deputy, stepping in when necessary, to ensure all internal protocols and guidelines are followed. The Assistant Boutique Manager drives sales targets, upholds superior operational and merchandising standards, fosters motivated teams, and nurtures associate development for career progression.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales and customer strategy by proposing and executing action plans tailored to each product category to meet business objectives and strategic goals.
- Expand the client base through effective initiatives and database development.
- Co-manage store staff with support from Management and HR, fostering motivation, engagement, and a sense of ownership among the team.
- Assist in training Sales Advisors on new collections and sales techniques; challenge staff with seasonal product goals.
- Maintain excellent customer service standards ensuring associates consistently communicate with clients and effectively manage client databases to boost sales and relationships.
- Address customer complaints promptly and efficiently.
- Support store administrative tasks such as HR planning, absence management, data entry, stock movements, deliveries, and daily store closures.
- Oversee store visual standards in partnership with the Visual Display Team to maintain cleanliness, tidiness, and optimal product presentation aligned with brand promotion guidelines.
- Monitor daily sales reports, product quality control (including defect management and repairs), and financial operations such as bank deposits and reconciliations.
- Support recruitment, training, performance evaluations, payroll integrity, and uphold grooming standards reflecting the brand image.
- Facilitate communication and reporting to management on sales, HR matters, financials, client issues, and events, while nurturing positive relations with corporate, mall offices, and other boutiques.
Candidate Profile and Requirements
- Proven retail experience, ideally within luxury or service-driven environments.
- Between 3 to 5 years of management and sales experience specifically in luxury fashion retail.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets and develop team capabilities.
- Strong commercial insight and business acumen.
- Expertise in customer relationship management and networking.
- Comprehensive knowledge of luxury fashion markets and current trends.
- Professional appearance characterized by smartness and personal style.
- Fluent English; additional language skills are advantageous.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and any ERP system.
- Exceptional attention to detail ensuring polished business operations and service delivery.
- Proactive and motivated with a positive 'can do' approach, able to thrive in a dynamic high-paced boutique environment.
- Flexible and adaptive to change with eagerness to learn and grow professionally.
