About the Role

Mace seamlessly integrates construction proficiency with consultancy services to unlock potential in individuals and projects, challenging conventional limits. We seek a skilled Assistant Bidding Manager to join us in Riyadh, leading the end-to-end process of bid management while embodying our core values.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily bid management activities from initial opportunity assessment through to submission and subsequent post-tender tasks.
  • Assist senior bid managers with significant project pursuits.
  • Analyze tender documents thoroughly, preparing compliance checklists, response strategies, and bid schedules.
  • Conduct bid kick-off meetings, facilitate workshops, oversee reviews, and manage governance procedures.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, bringing together technical, commercial, legal, and operational expertise to deliver compliant bids on schedule.
  • Create, refine, and enhance bid content, including CVs and project profiles, ensuring submissions are client-oriented and persuasive.
  • Handle tender clarification queries and manage communications with clients.
  • Administer client tender platforms and oversee electronic bid submissions.
  • Ensure all governance reviews and necessary approvals are completed correctly.
  • Maintain the central bid email inbox and keep an accurate record of ongoing opportunities.
  • Manage and update the Mace centralized work winning content repository.
  • Operate effectively in a fast-paced environment juggling multiple bid opportunities concurrently.
  • Demonstrate a proactive approach to personal growth and process improvement.
  • Participate in the Mace global pursuits network by contributing to team meetings, workshops, and knowledge-sharing events.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • At least three years of prior experience in bid management.
  • Proven expertise managing bids within the Middle East.
  • Proficient in using Adobe InDesign for bid documentation.
  • APMP certification is advantageous but not mandatory.
