Assistant Accommodation Manager

Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Assistant Accommodation Manager to join the team at the prestigious five-star Lyrath Estate Hotel located in Kilkenny, Ireland. Reporting directly to the Executive Housekeeper, the successful applicant will support the Accommodation Manager in leading the accommodation team to maintain exceptionally high standards across all hotel guest rooms and public areas.

Primary Responsibilities

• Oversee the Accommodation department, ensuring all guest rooms and public hotel spaces are cleaned and maintained to top-quality levels.
• Supervise and inspect bedroom cleanliness consistently to guarantee guest satisfaction with highest standards.
• Coordinate closely with the Accommodation Manager to maintain appropriate staffing and manage scheduling in alignment with business operations.
• Collaborate with the front office team to communicate room availability and respond to guest requests efficiently.
• Support the Accommodation Manager in training new team members within the department.
• Serve as the primary contact in the Accommodation Manager's absence and ensure thorough handover at shift completion.
