Overview
Join Parsons Corporation in Abu Dhabi as an Assets Engineer to support municipal and infrastructure asset management. This role involves managing permits, maintaining asset records, and assisting with planning, budgeting, and reporting activities. Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update asset registers in Osool, including tagging, coding, and classification of assets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to keep asset data current and compliant with asset management standards.
- Oversee infrastructure permit processes from initiation to closure ensuring coordination and regulatory compliance.
- Analyze and process land status and land-use change requests in accordance with municipal master plans and regulations.
- Ensure new and updated assets are accurately integrated into asset management systems with audit-ready documentation.
- Support development of investment plans and monitor expenditure related to infrastructure and municipal systems.
- Track progress of IT infrastructure projects, address issues affecting quality or deadlines, and coordinate closures.
- Engage with stakeholders and authorities through meetings and preparation of progress reports and technical documentation.
- Perform field inspections to assess asset conditions and produce condition and lifecycle reports.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent with at least 8 years of relevant experience.
- Proficient with IT systems and engineering software pertinent to asset management and reporting.
- Experience with infrastructure permitting and municipal approvals systems.
- In-depth understanding of engineering, construction processes, and industry best practices.
- Registration as a practicing engineer in Abu Dhabi is a plus.
