Assets Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and update asset registers in Osool, including tagging, coding, and classification of assets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to keep asset data current and compliant with asset management standards.
• Oversee infrastructure permit processes from initiation to closure ensuring coordination and regulatory compliance.
• Analyze and process land status and land-use change requests in accordance with municipal master plans and regulations.
• Ensure new and updated assets are accurately integrated into asset management systems with audit-ready documentation.
• Support development of investment plans and monitor expenditure related to infrastructure and municipal systems.
• Track progress of IT infrastructure projects, address issues affecting quality or deadlines, and coordinate closures.
• Engage with stakeholders and authorities through meetings and preparation of progress reports and technical documentation.
• Perform field inspections to assess asset conditions and produce condition and lifecycle reports.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent with at least 8 years of relevant experience.
• Proficient with IT systems and engineering software pertinent to asset management and reporting.
• Experience with infrastructure permitting and municipal approvals systems.
• In-depth understanding of engineering, construction processes, and industry best practices.
• Registration as a practicing engineer in Abu Dhabi is a plus.
