Position Summary

We are looking to hire an Assembly Technician to support a client located in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Key Duties

• Perform mechanical and composite assembly tasks such as drilling, reaming, countersinking, sealing, trimming, and installation of fasteners on composite components and structures.
• Conduct assembly processes involving jigs, out-of-jig arrangements, and final assembly stages utilizing semi-automatic and automatic machinery.
• Interpret and execute composite assembly operations according to engineering blueprints and technical work instructions.
• Promote continuous process enhancement by employing Lean methodologies including 5S and Kaizen, while strictly following health, safety, and environmental regulations within the plant.

Requirements

• Educational background: High school diploma, apprenticeship, or an equivalent form of hands-on job training.
• Experience: Between three and five years working in aerospace composite or structural assembly environments.
• Skills: Competence in using aerospace hand tools, composite trimming and sealing, fitting fasteners, working with assembly jigs, and interpreting technical drawings.
