- Implement safety mechanisms, evaluation frameworks, and continuous monitoring to ensure AI output reliability and auditability
- Collaborate with backend engineers for seamless integration of AI services into the overall architecture
- Lead experimentation efforts by testing new models, prompting methods, and architectural approaches while clearly documenting findings
- Ensure all AI-driven solutions comply with data protection guidelines and healthcare regulatory standards
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in building and deploying AI/ML systems in production environments, including LLM-based applications
- Strong programming skills across data pipelines, APIs, and application-level coding
- Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud AI platform
- Practical knowledge of modern LLM integration strategies such as prompting, tool utilization, retrieval techniques, evaluation, and safeguards
- Understanding of relational database systems and AI interaction with structured business data
- Ability to work effectively amid ambiguity, balancing rapid experimentation with production stability
- Commitment to responsible AI use within regulated and sensitive domains like healthcare
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with multi-agent systems or orchestration frameworks
- Background in healthcare or other highly regulated, privacy-focused sectors
- Familiarity with tools for model evaluation, system observability, and safety
Success Metrics
- Consistent and reliable delivery of AI features meeting defined accuracy and quality benchmarks
- Well-documented, evaluated, and iteratively improved models and pipelines
- Trustworthy, safe, and transparent AI outputs appreciated by both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Clean, stable, and maintainable integration within the wider platform ecosystem
- Gradual assumption of greater responsibility over the AI/ML development roadmap
